Music: Adam Reverie – “Love The Way I See It”
The Detroit Music Scene will be stronger than ever. When I first heard of Adam on a track, he was talking about “F Life” with Eddy J Free on “Star Trak”. From that point, I knew this dude had what it takes to be the next best thing in the music world. Adam Reverie (@adamreverie313) is a combination of a Post-2pac and a Carl Thomas put together. He talks about some real shit in his music from heartbreaks, to dreams about making it big, and overall anything you think about on the daily basis, he will talk about it in his music. “Love The Way I See It”, is the first album from Adam Reverie, and you can’t sleep on this! It’s too damn good. I am privileged to share my Doing Justice iShine movement with him on my upcoming album. Yall aint ready… DC and Detroit will come together like husband and wife and it will sound so good haha!

Good Afternoon all,
I just wanted to inform you that the record label 1SIDE Music will be taking in its new members in 2012 of Spring. Would this be you? I can’t answer that question but that’s for you to find out.
In 2009, we originally started off with 3 artists and by that year we released 3 debut albums to determine the sound and attitude of the label. 2009 was a good start but we knew we can always go better. In 2010, we stepped in up a notch and added a female onto the label as well as a Singer/Record producer. Within that year we launched out “A Rhyme and A Dream” and now you know him today as Jéan P along with underlying mixtapes from the artist such as “My Life as Jéan” and “Rise and Shine”. Artists within the label that year went to blogs as well as radio stations. DJ iShine went to iTunes with “Climates EP” as an exclusive download. We moved our launches to Bandcamp to help our artists get their music out more reliable and efficiently. In 2011, our artists have had many accolades such as music videos, citywide performances, college benefit shows and parties, radio station awards as well as cosigns and prior works from many other independent musicians within the market such as Stalley, Jay Jeffers, EZ Street, Young Duece, Charles Hamilton, DJ Funeral Fresh and G-Scott. We keep our crowd at a certain level with having artists appeal to the college music scene as well as the independent and pre-commercial scene as well. In 2012, we seek a even greater boom and bust within our label. We need even more talent, we need more songs, we need artists, we want YOU!
Candidates for the 2012 Recruitment Season must be 18 and up. If you are underage circa 16 you would need parental approval. Our idea is to have the following help build our label within the targeting.
- Singer
- Record Producer
- Disc Jockey
- Emcee
We are interested in those positions if you feel like you can compliment one of those 4 positions please do fill out a demo form and send it over to 1sidemusicent@gmail.com. We need artists that are hardworking, talented, honest, as well as energetic. If you want to read more into what entails a 1SIDE Musician, go to our mission statement for further information. When it comes to communication you MUST have a Twitter, Facebook, a Phone Number and a website with your music on it. Pre-Recruitment starts November 1st, Formal Recruitment starts in March, and Confirmation will begin in April.
Let me rundown what I mean exactly
Pre Recruitment- Allows the CEO and Chairman of 1SM to get to know the prospective artist. We will listen to your music give you feedback and work alongside with you to help better your talent. This will further determine if you would like to be apart of our label or not. This will last til March
Formal Recruitment- If artist desires to further his/her talents with the label, s/he will have to begin recording ORIGINAL music. This will give the artist the opportunity to network and get to know record producers internal of 1SIDE as well as external. The artist will be making a PILOT project with the CEO and depending on how the product turns out, the CEO will make the decision in whether or not to officially stamp it as a 1SIDE official project
Confirmation – Occurs once the project is released. We will see how it does publicly. If it is attractive then the prospective artist will be rewarded a 1SIDE name and a contract. We expect quality work and integrity so we will not dwell on the ifs ands or buts.

So I assume you have seen the new banner on the site? Well that’s the banner for my brand new compilation “Missiles – Bombs EP”. This EP contains 5 tracks 2 from MISSILES and another 2 from BOMBS with a bonus track that my record label 1SIDE put on the compilation as an assortment. It’s available on iTunes and other stores such as spotify and napster. Please support me and purchase yourself a copy for 5 dollars. It’s very cheap and it will help me get into the market a little bit more. If you can use 5 bucks to go into a club party or buy yourself a sub sandwich, why can’t you give your ears a treat too and use 5 bucks to buy this cd? Blog: The Registration
Ok. I just wanted to introduce to you this masterpiece of what I call “The Registration” lol jp. But nah for real I will introduce it to you. The Registration is a production crew of mine that I comprised over the summer to help me produce my solo projects as well as other material collective around the way. Currently there are 4 solid members (including myself) within the Registration, and we specialize in all music but specifically R&B is our forte. The members included within the Registration are E.White, Ricky Ricardo, and Willie Beemen. E.White is my labelmate and a singer and a producer, Ricky Ricardo attends Ohio University and plays in jazz bands, and Willie Beemen went to high school with me. I want to give you a quick tour of what this is all about. My name is DJ iShine and I am not your average DJ. My name stands for “Doing Justice, i Shine” because I believe in myself as a musician and as a person overall. I cultivated this name from my middle name and my last name, Isiah and Summers. Cool huh? yeah I know haha
Okay, so here is the rundown on how to navigate around this website, “DJ iShine” is the link to my main information, basically the rundown of who I am. “Discography” is the section of my music and current work. “Videos” will have my…well videos. “iShine’s JukeBox” has my link to where all my music is located and you can play it in real time. “The Registration” is my production crew.
